Not about to be left in the cold to replace the H&K SOCOM 2020, Colt introduces the L-36. With Heckler and Koch supplying the europeans, which only makes sense seeing as how they are euro themselves, the US is discreetly looking for a new special forces sidearm, preferably American made, though they are talking to Arasaka as well. This weapon is the running favorite so far, with integral lasersight/flashlight, optional smart-link, and custom suppressor, as well as optional 16 round extended magazines, it is the one to beat.
