You would never know it by looking at this weapon, but it floats. The heavy lug at the back and the odd looking barrel wrap are made from a special material with a foam core. The exterior is rigid and dense, but the interior is more bouyant than styrofoam. All the interior and exterior surfaces of the weapon are also treated and sealed, so the gun will continue to work perfectly even after prolonged submersion in saltwater, As a result the weapon floats. Specifically designed for the Coast Guard this weapon is gaining popularity with waterborne smugglers and divers.
